Fortune telling

Mr Fortune Teller stays in Tampines. Hui and I were late ... as usual. =p

Health
Mr Fortune Teller seemed to be very interested in my health. I was told that:

• I will have problem with my eyes this year, he didn't specify much, but I won't go blind lah *phew*
• I should watch my diet, I should abstain from seafood, salty stuff and food rich in proteins (Hui was very upset over this, cos this means we can't have our regular cockles session)
• I should start eating more nuts (almonds, walnut, and cashew nuts) and beans (all sorts - red, black and green)
• I should start eating more pig skin cos my skin lacks collagen (以形补形)
• I should stop 'slapping things' to my face (I wonder if he meant skin care products or make-up =p)
• I should start eating raw vegetables and drink more water (Hmmm, how did he guess the part about water intake?)
• My health problems (such as headaches) are stress-related, I should learn to watch my diet (drink less coffee or drink coffee only 2 hours after food), take things easy and control stress (erm, how to control stress?)
• I should take up taiji, yoga or even calligraphy
• My skin tone is on the yellow side cos of poor liver (erm, maybe I should cut down on drinking? :- )
• My water retention problem or swelling of wrist and face in the morning is due to weak heart and kidneys
• I have 肠胃 problem
• Generally my health is ok till 52, I will have alot of health problems from age 60 (kidneys, stomach, heart) onwards
• I must start taking good care of my health now and I should go to bed by 10pm everyday (opps...)

Career
I was told that

• I’m of 水 element, so I am suitable for 木-related industries like dental, housing, etc
• I will leave my present job next year due to 人事 problem, but it will be for the better (This 人事 issue is getting scarier, I have been told twice this year to 防小人, to be careful *gulp* or could be retrenchment?)
• I will have good luck in the next two years, especially 2008 (Maybe it’s related to Olympics Beijing 2008, or Duxton Plains …)
• I can try setting up a business; I will succeed if I have the guts (Maybe I should start saving up now)
• I will not be working for anyone in the future

Love
I was told that

• I’m not suitable for early marriage, if I were to marry before 31, my marriage will be a failure
• It is a wise decision that I didn’t marry the last guy (erm, the only guy?) I was with (Which I think it is very true, cos I feel that E and I are not suitable for each other)
• I should learn to let go … (*gulp* he reads my mind)
• It is not a bad thing that I’m not seeing anyone now (cos I will not end up with him … so I shouldn't be wasting my time)
• 'He' and I will be together in second half of 2007
• He is likely to be older than me (probably 3 years) and is a professional (Wonder if he considers XX's job a profession? muahahaha ...)
• I will move out of my present place in 2008/2009
• I will get pr**nant in 2009
• I will get married in 2010/2011 (opps … if this is true, Albert is gonna get very angry)

Others
I was told that

• I will be saving a lot in 2008
• I will start reading up on religion/fortune telling when I am 32, due to curiosity (actually I am pretty interested in Buddhism)

He could tell that

• I have 2 siblings
• I have been spending a lot (been buying a lot of skin care products and make-up, evening gowns, shoes … for all Amelie’s wedding)
• I had taken steroids previously for skin itch/rash
• There was minor works done in our toilet this year and he predicts that we will be doing minor renovation in the next 1-2 years (Albert plans to remove the window grilles, he has been talking about it for the past few years)

He advised me to take good care of my health this year and avoid driving.

Maybe the 'situation' made me go for this fortune telling session. I dunno what I hope to get out of this and I dunno how much I wanna believe.
