TNB
A bride-to-be can't sleep well the night before her big day ... cos she's nervous.
A student can't sleep well the night before his major exam ... cos he's stressed.
A patient can't sleep well the night before his operation ... cos he's worried.
.
I think these people suffer from a certain syndrome. I am no doctor, so I can't give this syndrome a fanciful name or a chim medical term. I simply call this 'The Night Before' syndrome (TNB). I used to be so stressed up over my exams that I couldn't sleep well the night before the exams. Other than weight loss, I also suffered from diarrhoea during the exams. This also happened the night before major presentations. I am glad that those days are over.
.
Well, I'm still suffering from TNB syndrome. I have only been away for only 6 working days, but it feels like I have been away for months. Before I went on leave, I had some difficult customers on hand. Now, I can't recall their names. I can't remember anything about my work. Yes, I'm nervous about going to work tomorrow. I am feeling stressed now ... over nothing ... cos I can't remember anything about work now. I can't help but worry about what's in store for me tomorrow. =(
.
I don't like this feeling. I don't like TNB. I don't feel like going to work tomorrow.
