.Tonite's the first wedding dinner I am gonna attend this year. I was looking forward to an enjoyable evening ... Gonna meet alot of my ex-classmates ...

Dunno wat went wrong and I came back feeling silly for spending time and money at the salon for a nice hairdo, for making an effort to look pretty and presentable for the dinner ... disappointed cos I looked forward to meeting up and catching up with ex-classmates, but the dinner turned out to be boring, I did not enjoy the dinner at all ... stupid cos everyone else is doing very well in their jobs and some have even started their own businesses and their conversations are about profits and money. It's no wonder people always say 人比人气死人 ... I shouldn't be comparing. I am not of those calibre ... I just wanna earn enough to spend and be happy. Really.

Anyway, I am happy for HC. 祝你們白頭諧老, 早生貴子 ... =)

Women should look PRETTY for ourselves and not for anyone else!
Everyone needs motivation.
Like your friends, they work hard and hope to achieve the goal. And maybe start their family.
You too endured and work hard because you think of the reward$ that's ahead of you.
And IMHO You pretty much HAVE what everyone else have, at the dinner table that night.
YOU just lack that litte drive to find that special SOMEONE...
They are only 'richer' than you in that area.
To most people, "catching up" means having to tell others how well they are doing...nothing wrong with that. In fact, you should be happy for them if you think they are living the lives they crave for...as for yourselves, if you have made the decision to live the life you have chosen, struck to it, be firm about it and be proud of it. Life is all about choices. Nobody can tell you what is happiness; only you can.
