Wong called today. He sounded ... bored/unhappy/lonely ... erm, weird.
He asked if I knew the prices of 4-room flats in Ang Mo Kio. He's thinking of getting one in 2 years' time when he turns 35. If he's getting a flat/condo, he will need to save enough to pay for downpayment and new furniture. Else, he will use the money to renovate his parents' condo. He will make a will when he gets his property. I thought it's kinda early to make such plans now. Anything can happen within these 2 years' time.
He's also saving up as much as he can. He needs to save enough so that he can check himself into a Home for the Aged when he retires. Gosh ...
