胎死腹中

造句 ：这次到访北京的计划已胎死腹中。。。

We were planning to visit Amelie in Beijing during the coming Sep school holidays.
Well, the plan is aborted. =p

IT's not becos we cant take leave.
My mum is a housewife. She can go on strike anytime. =p
My father has his own business. He has made arrangement to take time off work.
My leave was approved immediately cos I think the person-in-charge likes me. =)

Then who else?
It's becos my brother can't take time off from school during the school holidays.

Hmph...

Actually, I am very disappointed about not going to Beijing. =(
I was elated when my parents suggested it that day. I planned my leave, enquired about air-tickets ... and I got my BJ shopping list ready. =) =) =) Super efficient, rite?

Apparently, Andrew has a robotics competition on 8 Sep. He needs to spend more time improvising his team's motor... His team NEEDS him. He's indispensable. =p

Well, my brother is
- always the team leader,
NO MATTER which project/CCA/competition he's in .
- also a very good team player,
taking part in EVERY stage of the project/CCA/competition.
- always doing EVERYTHING for the team,
from planning to co-ordination to typing to editing.

Yes, that's my brother.
And I'm proud of him.

Bet Andrew's feeling guilty about the whole thing now. Hmm, it's becos of him, that the whole family can't go Beijing. He misses Amelie as much as we do. He doesn't want thing to turn out this way too.

唉, Andrew 是个人才，现在正是他发挥他的才能的时候。
反正 Amelie 在九月底会回来新加坡。再忍多一下吧。
