I learnt a lesson today

I ATTENDED a meeting with my immediate boss today. Alot of big big bosses from other departments attended the meeting too. Needless to say, I'm the smallest fry and the shortest person in the meeting room too. =p I made myself looked useful by jotting down the important points and making notes (aka looked busy lah). =p

We or rather they were to discuss about a new product. I kept quiet most of the time. Cos I figured that if I remain quiet, I won't make mistakes. 少说少错, 不说没错. Rite? Those men reached a common solution after an hour. It was a breeze actually, not much argument.

Then came the HIGHLIGHTS of the meeting ...
Who will be informing the higher management on the latest development of the product?

No one volunteered. Why?
Cos the project is overdue by one month! =p

Boss A : Boss B, I think you should send the email. It involves your dept.
Boss B : No, I think Boss C should send the email. It affects your dept.
Boss C (to Boss D's asst) : I think your Boss should send the email.
According to this email dated end Jul 2005, your Boss informed the higher management that he will keep them posted.
Boss D's asst : Which email? I didn't get it ...
Boss C took out the email and pointed to the phrase.
Boss C : See, I even highlighted it. He wrote 'We will keep you posted'.
Bosses A and B nodded in agreement.
Boss D's asst : Ok, I will let my Boss know.

I attended my first lesson on 'Taiji'.
Guess I have alot to learn. =p
