Happy Teachers' Day

Wonder if Hui misses celebrating teachers' day.
Wonder if she misses receiving gifts (esp tons of red pens) on this day.
Wonder if she misses her kids in school.
Wonder if she misses teaching.
I think she can be a good teacher if she puts in effort. Hui, 加油!!!

Hui kept telling me that I can be a teacher.
She's not the first person to say that to me.
I still can't decide whether this is a compliment or not.

I can be a teacher maybe becos I look approachable / decent / fierce / honest / impartial / mature / meticulous/ nerdy / nice / reliable / respectable / responsible / smart / stern / studious / tactful / upright.

Or maybe just a word to sum it all. I look 'teacherly'? Muahahaha ...

My brother was the first one who suggested that I should be a teacher.

When he was in primary school, he was utterly amazed that I could solve all the Maths problem sums and I could teach better than his teachers. I could even spot the Maths questions for his tests/exams. I was like a Maths Goddess to him.

Now that he's in Sec 2, there are problems which I can't solve. =( Sometimes he had to approach his classmates. Opps. Must be lack of practice lah. If I were to put in more effort, I'm sure I can do it better than those kids. Erm, maybe not, cos alot of them are from China. =p

Sometimes I feel sad that I can no longer solve all his Maths problem sums now and I lost my Maths Goddess status.

Now that I'm no longer a Goddess, I will go ... Yeah, 我是数学美少女... whenever I solve a maths problem.

Yeah, go ahead and puke. =p

Some of my teachers inspired me to study hard and some 'moulded' me to be the person I am today. I'm glad our paths crossed. Of cos, there were some teachers whom I wish they didn't exist in my world. Oh, let's be forgiving.

Teachers really play a major part in a child's life.
